My name is Cory W. Cathrea. I  live in Livermore California, play Basketball for the AAU Armor Elite program ( 22,10,6  per game)  and played my senior year (2016) for the Cowboys of Livermore High (which lost every game).  From a 3.9 GPA, to various letters of recommendation from teachers and coach's I am told I am a proven leader with high character, and an above average Basketball IQ. And no I did not build this website myself

My Livermore High experience, after 2 years of AAU success didn't  stop me from wanting to grow as a player and eventually play college basketball.  The lack of basketball fundamentals from the high school coaching group showed that high school basketball was not taken seriously in our area. From guarantees about roster spots to returning players regardless of off season work, to 5'-4" project players with less skill I realized this team wasn’t about winning. I decided to keep quiet and play out the year while continuing my training at NB Courts near my home. My basketball coach Jordan Borman changed the way I play, think and “feel” my way around the court.  In the 18 month's I have been training daily both in the workout room and on the practice court I have changed my body, but more importantly my mind to not only grow as an athlete, but as a role model, team leader and vocal floor general. I may be a student first,  but I’ve turned  into a dam fine player that's a great teammate, listen and work hard in practice, and respect the game of basketball.   If i were to describe my game ..... I start on  the defensive side working hard , good with both hands, great court vision, good shot from everywhere  and I don't waste possessions. AND YES I CAN THROW A FREE THROW!
